Travel disruption until 12 April

Due to essential gas works, Cookham Bridge, Ferry Lane, and part of Sutton Road will be closed to vehicles until 12 April 2026.

Sutton Road (up to the High Street T‑junction) and the High Street itself remain open for access and parking. Guests travelling from Maidenhead or Cookham Dean will be largely unaffected. Those approaching from the north via Bourne End will need to follow diversions via Hedsor & Taplow or via Marlow & Bisham.

The bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists, so guests may also park on the Bourne End side and walk over.
