Quip Shed Comedy is delighted to continue to host comedy nights at The Bel & The Dragon in Wendover. For our September show, we are over the moon to have TV's Tony Law headlining, with support from Roger Monkhouse, Dane Buckley and host Lyle Barke!

Roger Monkhouse is one of the most original and distinctive acts on the comedy scene. Roger headlines at all the major comedy venues and has performed extensively throughout the UK and internationally. He is one of the regular writers on Channel 4’s hugely popular comedy panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats. Roger is also a regular member of the prestigious and critically acclaimed 'Cutting Edge' team at the London Comedy Store.

Dane Buckley is the world’s only Irish, Indian, gay comedian… probably. An award-winning comedian and writer, he delivers his comedy effortlessly with cheeky charm and camp mischief.

Dane burst onto the comedy circuit in 2022, making a name for himself by winning Gong Shows Beat the Frog World Series, The Comedy Store’s King Gong, Top Secret’s Gong, to name a few and has been a finalist in LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2022 and 2Northdown’s New Act competition 2022.

Dane has supported Tom Allen, Rosie Jones, and My Therapist Ghosted Me on tour. He recently filmed for Comedy Central Live, and is a regular on the club and festival circuit. Dane was also featured as one of Skiddle.com’s best up-and-coming stand-up comedians in 2023.

Canadian surrealist and master story-teller Tony Law is a three-time Chortle Award winner, Amused Moose Best Show winner and Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee.
